Purpose:
The Consciousness Research Lead plays a central role in advancing Sapien Health’s mission to explore and apply consciousness studies in health, wellbeing, and experiential reality. This role is responsible for shaping and directing ethical, cross-disciplinary research that integrates clinical, psychological, philosophical, and social science perspectives. It acts as a bridge between academic rigour and lived experience, embedding research into both practice and public education.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead the development of research strategy and priority areas in line with Sapien Health’s vision.
Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research collectives, and ethical review bodies.
Design and guide ethical, evidence-informed studies on consciousness, integration, and wellbeing.
Collaborate with other team leads (e.g. Mental Health, Integration Frameworks) to embed research into service and training delivery.
Incorporate lived experience voices in research design and interpretation, including peer co-authorship where appropriate.

Purpose:

Oversee day-to-day management of platforms including TekMatix, CRM, website, and digital communications tools.

Purpose:

Develop and oversee mental health support programs in alignment with ethical care standards.
